54 Best React Native Development Companies [2026 Updated]

The top React Native development companies of 2026, compared by budget, specialty, and best-for fit so you can shortlist the right partner fast.

If you're looking for a team to build your React Native app, there are a lot of solid options to choose from. With so many options, the hardest part is figuring out which one is right for your specific project.

Because there's no single "best" option, the right pick depends on what you're building, what your budget is, and how much of the product you want to own yourself.

React Native is also easy to do poorly. Almost any mobile agency can build a working React Native app. What separates the best teams is their ability to make it feel fast, handle complex native features like camera or payments - and make it feel like a real native app, instead of a website in a wrapper. The more demanding your app, the more this level of depth matters in the team you work with. But for a simple build, it might not matter as much.

So we pulled together a list of the strongest React Native teams and broke down what each one does, who they're a good fit for, and what they cost.

1. Studio

Studio is a New York product studio that works with you like a co-founder would. Design, engineering, and product strategy all live under one roof, and we own the roadmap from idea to launch and ongoing iteration. We've been building mobile apps for years, across React Native, native iOS, and native Android, and we ship them fast and on budget. We're a good option for funded founders and enterprise teams who want to move fast with a senior team that's shipped consumer-grade apps at scale. Hiring that team yourself takes a lot of time and money, and even then a new group of people might not gel. Our team is already assembled, so you get to market and hit your goals faster and more reliably.

Studio is a premium, US-based option, so you'll pay more than you would for an offshore or staff-augmentation team. But if you want a partner who can own the product roadmap and drive results for you, that's exactly what you're paying for.

2. Callstack

Callstack is one of the most authoritative React Native shops in the world. It's a founding member of the React Foundation and a core contributor to the framework itself, with 300+ commits to React Native. It's a great fit if your build is framework-critical or high-scale and you want people who help write the framework. It's less of a fit for a small, simple MVP, where the premium and enterprise focus are more than you need.

  • Focus: Framework-critical React Native, performance, brownfield integration, AI-native engineering
  • Services: React Native development, performance optimization, training, brownfield integration
  • Pricing: $$$ · ~$75–150/hr
  • Proof: Since 2016, Wrocław, Poland · 200+ engineers · React Foundation founding member · Viking Global funds took a majority stake in 2025 valuing equity at ~PLN 0.5B

You pay premium rates and engage it like the enterprise-grade specialist it is, and in return you get about as close to the source of React Native as an agency gets.

3. Software Mansion

Software Mansion co-created some of the most-used libraries in the entire React Native ecosystem, including Reanimated and Gesture Handler, and co-authored the new animation backend that shipped in React Native 0.85 alongside Meta. It's the clear fit if your app leans hard on animation, gestures, or anything library-grade. It's less of a fit if you want a heavily marketed, full-service brand studio, since its reputation is built on open source, not sales.

  • Focus: React Native, animation and gesture systems, streaming/multimedia, open source
  • Services: React Native, Node.js, Elixir, multimedia, OSS library work
  • Pricing: $$$ · premium senior rates (limited public Clutch data)
  • Proof: Since 2012, Kraków, Poland · 201–500 people · authors of Reanimated and Gesture Handler · React Foundation founding member

It's the least-marketed of the elite tier, so you vet it through its libraries and case studies rather than a big review base, and for animation-heavy work that's a trade worth making.

4. Margelo

Margelo maintains arguably the deepest active React Native open-source portfolio of any studio, including VisionCamera, react-native-mmkv, and Nitro Modules, with a combined 300M+ downloads. It's a great fit if your app is performance-critical or needs custom native modules built by people who do it at the highest level. It's less of a fit if you're cost-sensitive, since this is senior-only engineering.

  • Focus: High-performance React Native, custom native modules, camera/vision, on-device AI
  • Services: Performance-critical RN, native module engineering, camera and vision, on-device AI
  • Pricing: $$$ · ~$149/hr
  • Proof: Since 2021, Vienna, Austria · ~40–50 senior engineers · clients include Shopify, Discord, Meta, Expensify, Coinbase

There's no big Clutch star base here, so you vet through GitHub and case studies, and the payoff is native-module engineering few teams can match.

5. Theodo

Theodo has been building React Native since 2015 and maintains Flashlight, the open-source tool for measuring React Native performance. It's also an official Expo Consultant and runs RN meetups in Paris and London. It's a great fit for performance-sensitive builds and teams that want measurable, tooling-backed performance work. It's less of a fit if you need a very large dedicated review base to feel confident.

  • Focus: React Native, performance auditing and tooling, product engineering
  • Services: React Native, web, product engineering, performance auditing
  • Pricing: $$$ · premium (Paris, London, New York offices)
  • Proof: ~4.8/5 on Clutch · 100+ mobile engineers · maintains Flashlight · Expo Consultant · clients include BBC, Tripadvisor, TF1

Its dedicated RN review base is smaller than the firm's size suggests, but the Flashlight authority is real and rare.

6. Infinite Red

Infinite Red is a senior, US and Canada-only React Native team that maintains the Ignite boilerplate, hosts Chain React (the flagship US RN conference), and has built 75+ React Native apps. It's a great fit if you want elite senior domestic talent on a complex app. It's less of a fit on a tight budget, since it sits at the highest rate band on this list.

  • Focus: Complex React Native apps, fintech, open-source tooling
  • Services: React Native development, Ignite boilerplate, product engineering
  • Pricing: $$$ · $200–300/hr ($100K+ min)
  • Proof: Since 2015, Vancouver, WA · ~30 people · Meta React Native Partner and Expo Consultant · clients include Microsoft, Amazon, Squarespace

It's a small team at the top rate band, which is the point when you want senior US delivery and deep open-source credibility.

7. Nearform

Nearform carries a major React Native open-source lineage through its 2023 acquisition of Formidable Labs, and pairs it with strong Node.js depth. It maintains Victory Native and react-native-app-auth, among others. It's a great fit for framework-critical or open-source-grade builds where you also want backend firepower. It's less of a fit if you rely on a deep review base to vet a firm, since its Clutch profile is nearly empty despite its size.

  • Focus: Custom software, React Native, Node.js, product design
  • Services: React Native, Node.js, product design, custom software
  • Pricing: $$$ · $150–199/hr ($50K+ min)
  • Proof: Since 2011, Tramore, Ireland · ~300–475 people · acquired Formidable Labs (Puma, Lululemon, Starbucks legacy)

Its Clutch review base is thin for its size, so vet it through the Formidable open-source lineage and case studies directly.

8. App&Flow

App&Flow is a pure React Native and Expo engineering studio and an official Expo Consultant, known for working with Y Combinator startups on both greenfield builds and rescues. It's a great fit if you're building or rescuing an Expo-based app and want a dedicated specialist. It's less of a fit for very large, multi-team programs, given its boutique size.

  • Focus: React Native + Expo, greenfield and brownfield builds
  • Services: React Native/Expo development, product engineering
  • Pricing: $$ · $100–149/hr ($25K+ min, projects ~$75K–$260K)
  • Proof: Since 2015, Montreal · ~14 Clutch reviews · Expo Consultant · early Expo collaborator

It's a boutique, so capacity is finite, and for an Expo build or rescue that focus is exactly what you want.

9. Echobind

Echobind is a US-based React Native and Node full-stack studio and official Expo Consultant, with a healthcare and startup focus, and it often joins as a founding-team engineering partner. It's a great fit for early-stage teams that want a founding engineering partner rather than a pure vendor. It's less of a fit if you need published pricing and a large team up front.

  • Focus: React Native/Expo, full-stack web, product engineering
  • Services: React Native/Expo, full-stack web, product engineering
  • Pricing: $$ · not publicly published (~12 Clutch reviews)
  • Proof: US-based · Expo Consultant · strong full-stack (RN + Node) pairing

It's a small team with limited public pricing, so confirm capacity, and in return you get an Expo partner that plugs in like a founding engineer.

10. Morrow

Morrow is a UK-based, fully remote React Native and Expo studio and official Expo Consultant, with a reputation for fast time-to-market and for rescuing struggling RN builds. It's a great fit if you need speed or you're trying to recover a stalled project. It's less of a fit if you want a large on-site team, and you should confirm the current rate band before signing.

  • Focus: React Native/Expo, rapid delivery, rescue engagements
  • Services: React Native/Expo development, product design
  • Pricing: $$ · verify current band (~18 Clutch reviews)
  • Proof: UK HQ, fully remote · Expo Consultant · strong on rescue and speed-to-market

It's a smaller studio, so confirm the rate band, and its sweet spot is getting you unstuck or to market fast.

11. Pagepro

Pagepro is an official Expo Consultant and a Next.js plus Expo specialist, working across health, banking, education, and entertainment. It's a great fit if you want one team to deliver both your React web and React Native app. It's less of a fit if you need a deep independent review base to rank it with confidence.

  • Focus: React Native/Expo and Next.js/React web
  • Services: React Native/Expo, Next.js/React web development
  • Pricing: $$ · verify current band
  • Proof: Expo Consultant · combined React web + React Native expertise

Its independent review data is thinner than the elite tier, so verify before ranking, and its value is shared React web and mobile delivery.

12. WillowTree (now TELUS Digital)

WillowTree is one of the most decorated app studios in the US, now inside TELUS Digital, pairing consumer-grade design with enterprise security and scale. It's a great fit for big brands shipping a flagship app where polish can't slip. It's overkill on an MVP budget, and you're now hiring an enterprise-scale org, not a boutique.

  • Focus: Flagship consumer apps, enterprise UX, product strategy
  • Services: App dev, web, OTT, product strategy/design, AI
  • Pricing: $$$ · enterprise-tier
  • Proof: Since 2008, Charlottesville, VA · 1,000+ people across 13 studios · clients include T-Mobile, Marriott, PepsiCo, Domino's

The minimums are steep, but for a make-or-break consumer app, that buys one of the most proven teams around.

13. Thoughtbot

Thoughtbot is a widely respected US product consultancy that publicly recommends React Native for most first apps, and it maintains RN open-source tooling of its own. It's a great fit if you want a design-led team to build a strong first version with senior engineers. It's less of a fit if budget is your main concern, since it runs premium US rates.

  • Focus: Product strategy, design, React Native and native mobile, Rails/web
  • Services: Product strategy, design, React Native, native mobile, web
  • Pricing: $$$ · premium US band
  • Proof: Since 2003, Boston (distributed) · 1,000+ clients over 20+ years · built the Samaritans RN app

You pay senior-consultancy rates, and the return is a design-led team that will steer your first version well.

14. Fueled

Fueled is a premium New York agency with a blue-chip roster and entirely in-house talent, known for award-winning apps. It's a great fit for brand-name apps you want built by an in-house (not outsourced) team. It's less of a fit if you're on a tighter budget or building something simple.

  • Focus: Digital strategy, product design, native and cross-platform mobile, AI
  • Services: Strategy, UX/product design, native and cross-platform, AI, cloud
  • Pricing: $$$ · premium agency band
  • Proof: Since 2007, New York and London · 300+ experts · ~37 Clutch reviews · clients include Apple, Microsoft, Disney, JetBlue

It isn't cheap, but for a brand-name app built entirely in-house, that's where the money goes.

STRV is a Silicon Valley-present studio with nearly two decades of experience and a unicorn-startup roster, delivering globally from offices in the US and Czech Republic. It's a great fit for funded startups and scaleups that want a premium studio. It's less of a fit on a lean budget, since most engagements start around $200,000.

  • Focus: Premium product design and engineering, funded startups
  • Services: Product design, native and cross-platform, backend, AI
  • Pricing: $$$ · engagements typically start ~$200K
  • Proof: Since 2004, Venice, CA (offices in Prague, Brno, SF, NY) · 4.9/5 on Clutch across ~60 reviews · 300+ products

The starting point is high, and it funds a premium studio with a proven track record for funded companies.

So you get premium quality at nearshore cost on Americas time. It's a great fit if you're a startup or mid-market team that wants senior pods without US-boutique rates. It's less of a fit if you require an all-US, on-site team.

  • Focus: Product and design pods, React Native, AI, AR/IoT
  • Services: Product strategy, UX/UI, native and cross-platform, backend
  • Pricing: $$ · $50–99/hr

Expect Eastern-European time-zone gaps, and the trade is deep regulated-industry and IoT expertise.

45. Simform

Simform is a 1,000-plus-person firm (Orlando HQ, India delivery) strongest on cloud-native, data, and AI engineering, not just the mobile front end. It's a great fit if your product is backend- or cloud-heavy and you want engineering depth at competitive rates. GeekyAnts is a Bangalore firm with a hard-earned cross-platform reputation: it authors and maintains NativeBase and gluestack, two of the most-used React Native UI libraries. It's the clear fit if you want real RN open-source authority at affordable rates. Expect a roughly 12-hour time-zone gap, and some reviews cite initial communication friction.

  • Focus: High-volume mobile and custom development
  • Services: React Native and native mobile, custom software
  • Pricing: $ · budget offshore band
  • Proof: Since 2011, Ahmedabad, India · 1,000+ developers · ~174 Clutch reviews · ISO 9001 certified

OpenXcell is an Indian firm with very competitive pricing and 1,000+ solutions delivered across mobile, AI, and data. It's a great fit for low-cost custom builds. It's less of a fit if on-time delivery is non-negotiable, since some reviews note variable timelines, and its review count is thin for its size.

  • Services: Mobile, custom software, AI/LLM, data engineering, blockchain, DevOps
  • Pricing: $ · under $25/hr ($10K+ min)

Codiant is a low-cost Indian firm with a decade-plus track record, enterprise parent backing, and ISO certifications. It's a great fit for low-cost delivery with enterprise backing behind it. It's less of a fit if you want a large review base or all-US delivery, given its India-centric model and modest Clutch volume.

  • Focus: Healthcare/telemedicine, on-demand, fintech, e-commerce
  • Services: React Native and native mobile, custom software
  • Pricing: $ · under $25/hr
  • Proof: Since 2011, East Moline, IL with India delivery · ~250 people · acquired by YASH Technologies (2017) · ISO 9001 and 27001 certified

52. TekRevol

TekRevol is a Houston-headquartered firm with a strong local US presence, competitive rates, and Clutch Global and Inc. 5000 recognition. It's a great fit for competitively priced, US-fronted delivery. It's less of a fit if you need uninterrupted continuity, since reviews cite occasional communication lapses during PM transitions.

  • Focus: Mobile, web, custom software, UX/UI, AI

  • Focus: Healthcare, fintech, logistics, EdTech, retail
  • Services: React Native and native mobile, custom software
  • Pricing: $$ · $50–99/hr
  • Proof: Since 2011, Claymont, DE with Ukraine R&D · ~250+ people · 4.9/5 on Clutch across ~80 reviews · ISO 9001 and 27001 certified

Its portfolio skews SMB and mid-market, and the trade is certified, consistently reviewed delivery.

54. G2i

G2i is worth listing separately because it isn't a project agency. It's a React Native talent platform with 8,000+ engineers (1,200+ deeply vetted) and deep ecosystem ties, including React Native Radio. It places pre-vetted RN engineers onto your team rather than delivering a finished app end to end. It's a great fit if you want to hire vetted RN engineers directly. It's less of a fit if you want a studio to own the whole build, since that's a different model entirely.

  • Focus: React Native, React, and Node talent placement
  • Services: Pre-vetted engineer placement (staff augmentation)
  • Pricing: Varies · per-engineer placement
  • Proof: 8,000+ engineers (1,200+ deeply vetted) · deep RN ecosystem ties (React Native Radio)

It doesn't deliver a finished app, so it sits in a different category from the build shops above, and it's the right call when you want to hire the engineers, not outsource the project.

How Do You Choose the Right React-Native Team for You?

Narrowing down to the right option mostly comes down to understanding what you need, and what your budget and goals are. Our full guide on how to choose a mobile app development company goes deeper on the questions to ask and the red flags to watch for. But here's the summary:

  1. What stage are you, and what's the budget? A non-technical founder validating an idea needs a lean team team that can help them figure out product direction and shape the product. And a 60,000-person enterprise consultancy that bills by the quarter would be overkill. However an enterprise looking to modernize a legacy platform needs a level of depth that a boutique dev shop won't be able to staff. Make sure you match the team to your stage and what your needs are.
  2. What's the hard part of your React Native app? The hardest technical risk in your build should guide the right choice. Every shop here can build a screen, so the question is what your product actually lives and dies on. If it's smooth 60fps animation, custom native modules, or camera and vision work, the framework-authorities are worth the premium. If it's a regulated health or fintech app, compliance and audit trails matter the most. If it's an MVP on a budget, a mid-market or nearshore studio gets you there without overpaying. Pick the team whose core competency aligns with your biggest risk.
  3. How much do you want to run yourself? This will help you decide whether you need staff augmentation or a full-service studio. Staff-augmentation firms and talent platforms (BairesDev, Vention, G2i) may provide you with excellent senior engineers, but you're still the product owner. You set the direction. And you're responsible for catching the mistakes. A full-service studio takes that responsibility off your plate and owns the outcome for you. Neither is better than the other, but hiring the wrong one for your situation is one of the most common ways these projects go south.

A quick note on the framework itself: React Native has changed a lot. The New Architecture (Fabric and TurboModules), Expo as the default toolchain, and the recent animation backend - all matter for a modern build. Ask each team you talk to about New Architecture and Expo readiness.

Picking the Right Team for Your Situation

As we mentioned, there's no universal winner here. The best React Native team is the one that fits your problem, your budget, and how much of the product you want to own yourself.

If you've raised money and want to move fast, or you're a larger company launching a new product line, hiring and assembling a product and engineering team is slow and risky. A team that doesn't gel can cost you months, or years, of wasted effort. Studio is the plug-and-play alternative: a senior team that's already worked together and shipped React Native, iOS, and Android products at scale, ready to own strategy, design, and engineering with you from day one.

If that sounds like what you're after, we'd love to chat. Book a call and tell us what you're building, and if it turns out we're not the right fit, we'll gladly point you to someone else on this list who is.
